The Basics Mini-Course
Three simple steps to break patterns.
I often observe how people with chronic illnesses resist and fight against their condition, wanting things to be different. But what if this attitude is precisely what prevents anything from changing?
Here, I will show you the basics of my coaching work. I will teach you relaxation methods, demonstrate how acceptance can be a powerful tool, encourage you to question your thoughts, and help you gain new insights. I can only accompany you on this journey.
This mini-course consists of three simple modules and practical coaching units. Learn to recognize that you don't have to fight your symptoms; a lot can change when you accept them.
Making peace with the disease
I. Finding Calm Through Breath-Work
Your breathing is the anchor that can ground your body. It is always with you, and you can use it to calm yourself down. I was unaware of its power, and it used to surge like waves. Today, I have more than 1,000 hours of active breathing practice. My nervous system has calmed down and it started to happen fast. Breath work is a tool that allows you to return to your body and the present moment again and again.

Practice:
Practice equal breathing for 10 to 15 minutes each day. Doing it for longer is always possible, but at the beginning 10 minutes is just fine.
Guided exercises or apps can support if you don't want to count yourself.
Eventually, you will develop a newfound strength that you can use to calm yourself down when needed.
II. Facing Life with Acceptance
I fought my exhaustion for a long time, just as I did with all my other symptoms. Then, a simple mindfulness exercise brought me peace.
"What you resist will persist." Everything changed for me when I stopped fighting and started letting go every day.

Practice:
Can I change it? No / Yes?
If the answer is ‘No’, then it's time to shrug your shoulders and accept it.
Say to yourself: "I accept what I can not change." "This is happening right now."
III. Question your Thoughts.
Our thoughts act as filters through which we encounter and perceive the world. However, not all thoughts are helpful. It took me a long time to understand that I can't believe everything I think, and that examining a few of my thoughts every day is helpful.

Practice:
Where does this thought come from?
Is it really true, or just an old story I still tell myself?
How can I still see it that way?
Learn how to effectively break the cycle
In the course, you will learn more about yourself and your thoughts week by week. You will gain deep insights and learn methods that will equip you to deal with yourself and your exhaustion in a different way.
