About me &
The Fatigue Switch

I'm Julia, your coach for Chronic Fatigue

After suffering CFS three years ago, I felt completely alone. Despite a long list of symptoms that made every day a struggle, doctors couldn't tell me what was wrong with me. Even worse, they said I was healthy. My symptoms worsened by the day.

Disappointed and at a loss, I sought my own path. I found scientifically based practices and methods to bring my body, mind, and soul back into harmony. After many attempts and setbacks, I started to feel better and better. I had energy again, my fatigue disappeared, and I not only felt better, but also had the strength to face life again.

Today, I support other people on their journey. No one should have to walk this path alone.

Many of my clients feel trapped by their symptoms,
when how they relate to them keeps them locked in.

How I work with you:

  • First, we clarify where you are right now.

  • Together, we analyze what's protection and growth.

  • We define what are the goals for your recovery.

  • We calm your nervous system.

  • You receive guidance after each session

Why I do this work

Helping others get what I got

I find great joy in supporting people and seeing them grow on a path that I myself walked. There is so much misunderstanding about ME/CFS, and I want to help people by sharing the insights and tools that helped me recover from this.

My Hope for You

That your daily life becomes easier, more joyful and freer. That you can leave behind the identity of someone with a debilitating chronic illness. May you find serenity and energy within yourself.

My Methods

As a coach, I integrate body-based practices to support stress regulation and bring unconscious patterns into awareness. My approach is informed by years of my own recovery as well as IFS and compassionate Coaching, mindfulness and nervous system integration. I offer a grounded, non-judgmental space for self-contact, stability, and sustainable change.

Many people experience that real change begins when they feel consistently seen and heard.

My Vision

My vision is to create and hold spaces where individuals and groups can slow down enough to reconnect with their bodies, with each other and with themselves. I believe that sustainable health, mental as much as physical doesn't come from pushing harder, but from learning how to regulate ourselves.

I truly want to help and support people to uncover what's are the stories underneath this disease.

Why the Fatigue Switch?

On a beautiful Sunday, the sun sparkled on the snow. Yet, I was in pain and fatigued. I stood under the hot shower, thinking of taking an ice bath. I decided to step outside. I found a secluded spot, to lay down in the snow and rolled onto my back. I rubbed snow over my arms, legs and chest until my skin turned red. Suddenly, the pain, fatigue and brain fog disappeared. It was as if someone had flicked a switch in my nervous system.

During my recovery, I experienced several experiences like this where my symptoms seemed to switch off.

These experiences have shaped my work today. I focus on nervous-system regulation, co-regulation, self-awareness and learning to relate to symptoms differently. They also gave the name to my method and course: The Fatigue Switch
